Metal Finisher/Grinder

Located in Lakeville, MN

Salary: Up to $22/Hour

We have several openings for a full-time Metal Finisher / Grinder on both first and second shift.

We are a family-owned, precision sheet metal contract manufacturer located in an ultra-clean, 111,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility. We faithfully serve the electronics, computer, communication, medical, construction, agricultural, industrial, retail, military, and aerospace industries. Salary: We offer a competitive salary based on skills, experience, and work history. Shifts:

• 1st: Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 3:30/4:30pm and Friday 6-3:30pm. There is ample opportunity for overtime.
• 2nd: Monday-Thursday, 4:30pm to 3:00am.

Metal Finishers

Operate a grinder to remove scratches and imperfections from metal pieces.

Responsibilities Include:

· Polish ground areas to produce a smooth, unmarred surface.

· Provide weld clean-up and ensure parts are paint ready.

· Operate deburring and tooling machines to perform deburring, grinding, blending, buffing, tumbling and chamfering operations on metal products.

· Inspect product surfaces for defects and repair if needed.

· Keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance (lubricate) functions on equipment.
