Our client is looking for a Welder to join their team! This is primarily a TIG welding shop but you would also be doing some MIG welding.

Job Duties:

• Running cover passes on carbon pipe and some brazing.
• You would be performing are butt joint welds, roots and covers ( full penetration welds), air/water tight welds, and purge welding.
• The welding techniques include using a turntable as well as free-hand welding and weave welds.
• Work with materials such as carbon, stainless steel, and aluminized. The material can range in size from 11 gauge to 3/4".
• Tubing, pipe, stainless steel corrugated hose, braided hoses, stainless steel bellows.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• 2 years of related experience, but for the right candidate, we are willing to train in-house.
• A welding certificate is not required, but helpful.
• You must be able to read blue prints and tape measures.
• Ability to learn and use a variety of materials.
• Understand dimensions and how to set-up parts.
• Ability to fabricate.
• Can use tacking and welding fixtures, grinders, saws, and pedestal brushes.

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday

Payrate:

•  $18.00-$22.00 BOE
