CNC Machinist

Our client is looking for a reliable CNC Machinist to join their team!

Job Duties:

• Study and interpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of final products. 
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on work pieces as a guide for subsequent machining. 
• Detects equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjusts the machine within capabilities, controls or control media as required to insure quality of production.
• Reports all machine malfunctions to Operations Manager. 
• Understanding of production requirements, production scheduling, and reporting. 
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
• Must have prior programming experience in G-Code and work with machining centers, 2 year degree in Machine Tool is required. 
• Will be working in a fast paced environment with high production yields. 
• Must be able to work 100% on the floor and have the ability to push, pull, or lift product with forklift or overhead crane. 
• Must be able to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time, and use hands to feel or handle all types of materials. 
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl regularly, and sit, climb, or balance occasionally. 
• Employee must be able to regularly lift up to 70 pounds. 
• Occasionally exposed to vibration and noise levels are usually high and ear plugs are required.

• 1st and 2nd shift opportunities!

Payrate:

•  $20.00-$28.00/hr.
