The Fabric Treater is responsible for treating woven liners to meet both internal specifications and customer expectations. Key responsibilities include preshrinking and heat-setting liners based on work orders, preparing resin and adhesive mixes, and applying these materials according to documented run specifications. The role also involves preparing chemicals for shipment, accurately entering data into the DSI work order system, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace using the “6S” methodology. Proper handling and storage of hazardous materials is essential, along with the flexibility to adjust to changing work priorities. The Fabric Treater is expected to contribute to a safe and positive work environment by following safety protocols, reporting unsafe conditions, and participating in safety initiatives. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with one to three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training. No specific certifications or licenses are required for this role.
