This is a full time, long term opportunity to join a well established local company.  The job description is as follows:

 

We are looking for a multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. You will be assisting with daily accounting tasks (AP/AR). You must have excellent computer skills and able/willing to learn new software tools. You will be working on a Windows PC daily utilizing the Microsoft and Vista Viewpoint software tools.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Code, Scan, & enter AP invoices
• Maintain AP files
• Mail out checks
• Mail out statements/collection letters
• Request & send tax exemption certificates
• Review vendor statements & request missing invoices
• Other Duties as requested.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Desktop PC, Microsoft Office Suite and related software. Be able to learn custom software easily.
• Must know debits and credits.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of an Associates degree in accounting or similar degree with accounting as a major.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
