Salary: $15.00 + doe

IMMEDIATE OPENING for A/P Clerk 20-24 hours per week

 

The primary function of the opening is Accounts Payable as follows:

1. Review invoices and enter in Accounting system through either manual entry or purchase order receiving conversation.
2. Review vendor statements.
3. Enter Debit Memos/Credit Memos.
4. Review Open Payable report as to which invoices are to be paid. The list will be reviewed with Finance Manager before checks are printed. Once approved then print AP checks.
5. Bank transfers weekly.
6. Review monthly checklist to ensure all vendors have been paid for the month.
7. Process new vendor applications with appropriate tax documents.
8. Reconcile Open Payables report with open invoices.
9. Create vendor labels/file for year end and move appropriate files.
10. Some A/R functions: process payments through bank ACH and enter into accounting software, remote deposit physical checks
11. Assist with payroll functions: review daily timecards, assist with weekly payroll, confirm payroll direct deposits

Requirements:

3 years of experience with Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable with real time software.

3 years of experience with Payroll software/processes such as Quickbooks or other real time software.

1 year of experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
