Order Selector EPJ

Located in McDonough, GA

Salary: $17.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Operate electric rider pallet jack and stretch wrap machines.
• Using an electric rider pallet jack and RF scanner to select product out of the picking slots, stack cases correctly on pallets, wrap pallets, and transport pallets to shipping area of the distribution center to be staged for future shipments or live loads.
• Accurately identifying units for order fulfillment.
• Be a vocal contributor on the team.
• Work effectively with peers and managers as a team player.
• Identify the most efficient way to complete assigned tasks by using the standard operation procedure and asks clarifying questions when appropriate.
• Any additional responsibilities that are assigned.

 

 

Requirements

• High School or GED
• 6 months’+ electric rider pallet jack experience.
• Must be able to work on warehouse floor for 8 hours or more if needed.
• Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.
• Simple math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Must be comfortable repeatedly lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and manually removing empty pallets from picking slots.
• Strong, consistent work ethic.
• Comfort with scanning technology, printers, and basic computer skills.
• Experience in Distribution or Logistics is a plus.

 

 

Working Conditions

• The warehouse may be hot or cold depending on the current weather conditions.
