Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Technician needed immediately for a great company in the Garland, TX area!!

 

Work Schedule: MON-FRI 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (between $19-$24 DOE)

Responsibilities for Aerospace Manufacturing Quality Technician 

• Ability to deliver Quality services in the Aerospace Industry
• Knowledge of quality tools and standards
• Knowledge of operational quality tools (lean methodology and six sigma)
• Quality Tools & Standards
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Must have strong independent decision-making skills; excellent analytical skills and professional judgment
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience as Quality Technician, Inspector, or Quality Auditor in a manufacturing environment.
• Firm understanding and competency of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Explain and demonstrate inspection techniques and results for customer source inspection.
• Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation.
• Devise sampling procedures and design and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
• Responsible for documenting dimensional non-conformance issues found during the precision inspection process into customer portal.
• Responsible for resolving holds within the receiving inspection or precision inspection process and taking corrective actions to prevent them in the future.
• Accept or reject finished items.
• Report inspection and test data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected.
