Salary: $15.50-$17.00

Slitter/Press Operator

Pay: $18HR. 

Shift: Mon-Fri  8:00AM-4:30PM.

 

Responsibilities

• Setting up material on press and slitting to a specific width and length as requested by customer
• Load rolls onto press
• Inspect quality of rolls before productions begins and continuously check the quality of the product as it is produced
• Properly document quality inspections
• Remove rolls in a timely manner
• Complete Lockout/Tagout training sessions
• Relay safety incidents or concerns to management
• Understand and follow all safety procedures and policies
• Drive forklift(training will be provided)
• Willing to cross train

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in manufacturing required
• Longevity at previous positions held (at least one year at each position)
• Basic math and proof-reading skills
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to problem solve and communicate clearly with production and manager
• Work well independently
• Willing to cross train on various equipment
• Must be able to stand 8-10 hours per day
