Shift Leader - Automotive Supplier Quality Inspection

Salary: $17.00/hr

Job Summary:  Immediate openings for 1^st shift Team Leader positions. This role is accountable for both operational effectiveness and inspector performance at the designated client site. 

Here's What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like:

• Oversee a team of quality inspectors during assigned shifts, ensuring effective coordination, productivity, and adherence to quality standards
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members
• Conduct validations and time studies to investigate inefficiencies on your shift
• Track and document employee attendance and address performance concerns
• Perform data entry and timekeeping on behalf of your team
• Will often work side-by-side with quality team, involving repetitive physical manipulation, measurements, and data collection

Schedule & Pay:

• FULL TIME; Mon-Fri with occasional weekend availability when the site runs
• 1^st SHIFT: 7:00am-3:30pm
• $17.00/hr. plus occasional overtime

Here's What Makes YOU a Great Fit:

• Previous experience in a commercial, industrial plant, or warehouse environment inspecting items/products strongly preferred
• Attention to detail: maintain focus on detailed processes
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to maintain composure under pressure
• Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and vehicle insurance
• Able to physically do the work (standing for extended periods of time, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., etc.)
• Works well within a team
• Good work ethic; punctual & dependable; take pride in your work
• Steel toed boots required
• Drug-free; background check
