Heavy Equipment Operator

$20.00/hr+ DOE

 

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team. This role involves skilled operation of excavators, loaders, skid steers, forklifts, and more. Your expertise in heavy machinery, safety protocols, and teamwork will be vital for the success of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

·         Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment according to industry standards.

·         Conduct pre-operational checks, excavate, grade, and move materials as required.

·         Collaborate closely with the team to ensure project plan alignment.

·         Follow project plans, blueprints, and maintain equipment during operations.

·         Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and promptly report any identified issues.

·         Maintain a hazard-free work site through constant vigilance.

 

Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or equivalent.

·         Valid operator's license/certification for heavy equipment.

·         Proven experience in operating various heavy machinery.

·         Strong understanding of equipment controls, construction procedures, and blueprint reading.

·         Excellent mechanical skills and accuracy in following instructions.

·         Effective communication skills for coordination within the team.

·         Physical stamina, adaptability, and a safety-oriented mindset.

 

Physical Requirements:

·         Extended periods of heavy equipment operation.

·         Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.

·         Navigate and work on uneven terrain.

 

 

Schedule:

Monday – Friday

Day Shift

 

Pay:

$21.00/hr+
