Express Employment Professionals on 61st and Center has partnered with a local company and we are currently recruiting to fill an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic position for a manufacturing plant in West Omaha!

Job duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Be on call for general break downs in the plant ranging from weld machines to facility issues
• Ensuring fast reaction and responses to repair calls/equipment breakdowns and timely repairs to minimize downtime
• Conducting special studies as assigned or self-initiated to improve departmental services, production efficiencies, and satisfying internal and external requirements
• Developing with others on spare parts/ inventory for maintenance
• Aggressively reducing maintenance spending by using alternative parts, modifying preventative maintenance programs, and identifying root causes for parts wear and tear
• Actively participating in all plant safety initiatives with responsibility for maintenance related items
• Operate 10- and 20-ton cranes, forklifts, and scissor/boom lifts as required
• Use a wide variety of hand and powered (electrical and pneumatic) tools
• Able to weld as necessary

What we are looking for in an ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician Role:

• 5+ years of experience in the following fields
• Equipment Maintenance
• Repairing
• Troubleshooting
• Installation
• Electrical and/or mechanical certifications may be required
• Willingness to work and follow verbal/written instructions
• Open to the possibility of over time
