Job Title:         Customer Service Representative - Wireless

Department:   Customer Service/Retail Sales

Reports To:     Store/Area Manager

FLSA Status:   Non-Exempt

 

Summary Assists customers in person and over the phone in a retail setting in the activation/deactivation of voice and data devices by performing the following duties.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides assistance to customers in the selection and purchase of wireless telecommunications products and services.

Obtains or receives merchandise, totals bill, accepts payment, and makes change for customers.

Answers customer questions and resolves customer service issues relating to phone bills, equipment, products and services.

Maintains store and merchandise in proper condition

 Education and/or Experience                                                  

 High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 Language Skills                                               

 Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

 Mathematical Skills                                                    

 Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability                                            

 Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

 Computer Skills                                             

 To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Order processing systems; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.

 Must be willing to work overtime on infrequent occasions.
