Industrial Control Technician

The Essential Functions of the Industrial Controls Technician are as follows:

• Work with area leaders and operators to continuously improve efficiency and reduce scrap
• React to production breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner
• Design and build electrical panels
• Assist maintenance staff with electrical issues
• Submit weekly report of consumable and repairable parts needed
• Assist and support Safety Coordinator and Maintenance Leader

Qualifications:

• Electrical background- understanding of contacts, fuses, starters, and relays
• Industrial preventative maintenance
• PLC and low voltage experience 
• Schematics and wiring diagrams
• Reading Blueprints applying knowledge to make repairs
• Hydraulic - pumps, calves, and high-pressure cylinders

Required:

• 2-year degree and 2 years hands-on experience
• Must be able to work in a team environment
