We are looking for Production Line Operators to work the day shift for a food processing facility in New Orleans.  The Production Line Operator is responsible for safely operating production equipment within the manufacturing facility and ensuring that quality products are produced timely and efficiently. 

Job Pay: $16 / hour

Responsibilities: 

• Operates production equipment efficiently according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food/employee safety requirements and guidelines to meet daily labor and waste goals as planned and driven by management.
• Utilize Digital Production System (Redzone) to track downtime, perform quality compliance documents and communicate with support functions.
• Responsible for completing changeovers for their assigned equipment and/or production line.
• Accurately completes all quality, traceability, and production paperwork.
• Reports any product deficiencies, food, or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Performs minor equipment adjustments to ensure equipment is operating optimally.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and assists with product changeovers.

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift
  • Tuesday - Friday from 4:30AM to 3:00PM
• 2nd Shift
  • Monday - Thursday from 2:30PM to 1:00AM

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long hours and handle repetitive tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good organizational skills.
