Responsibilities:

1. Interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient assembly of pre-engineered metal buildings.
2. Assemble and erect structural steel frames, metal roofing, and wall systems according to project plans and industry standards.
3. Operate hand and power tools, as well as heavy machinery, such as cranes and forklifts, to facilitate the erection process.
4. Ensure the proper alignment and positioning of structural components during the construction process.
5. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines.
6. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment, fall protection, and proper handling of tools and equipment.
7. Conduct quality inspections to verify that work meets project specifications and industry standards.
8. Participate in regular safety meetings and training programs to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Metal Building Erector or similar role in the construction industry.
2. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
3. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as heavy machinery.
4. Strong knowledge of metal building erection techniques and best practices.
5. Comfort working at heights and in various weather conditions.
6. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
7. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
8. OSHA certification and other relevant safety training are desirable.
