Jonesboro area company seeking IT Support Technician. This is a full time, evaluation to hire (permanent) position. 

Hours: Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm

Job Details:

Provide assistance to computer users by answering questions, resolving technical problems and maintaining a company’s network, software and computer equipment.

 

Essential Functions

1. Coordinates with outside managed service and help desk.
2. Installing hardware and software systems.
3. Maintaining or repairing equipment.
4. Troubleshooting a variety of computer issues.
5. Setting up computer security measures.
6. Configuring computer networks.
7. Offering technical support on-site, or via phone or email.
8. Performs back-up, recovery and systems monitoring.
9. Operates other information technology related equipment such as scanners, printers, plotters, graphics equipment, etc.
10. Coordinates and schedules work with vendor service providers.
11. Assists with safety and disaster prevention and training.

 Physical Demands

1. Remain in the seated position for long periods of time.
2. Occasionally required to walk or stand.

4. Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
5. Normal range of hearing and eyesight.
6. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
