This position is for a Landscape Maintenance Assistant (1st Shift - 06:00am to 2:30pm).Duties may include but not limited to:-Prune shrubs-Perform litter pick-up-Empty trash containers-Dig holes and trenches-Rake leaves and clippings-Able to lift 45 pounds-Perform physical labor-Work outdoors in adverse conditions such as heat, cold, and rain.-Understand both written and verbal directions-Ability to perform work safely-Ability to use hand tools correctly and safely-Ability to differentiate ornamental plants from unwanted weeds-Deal courteously with the public and work cooperatively and effectively with others-Ability to complete assignments by following directions-Other general routine landscape maintenance tasks as assigned
Candidate will arrive at the main branch and car pool in company vehicle to various city park locations. *Steel-toed work boots are prefered, but work boots are fine.
