Salary: 16.75/hr.
Local metal company is seeking a 3rd shift loader. The shift for this position is 9PM-5AM Monday-Friday. Some Saturdays may be required based on need. The Night Shift loader, under limited supervision, performs duties related to the storage and movement of inventory or equipment; reports to lead material handler or group leader
- Basic reading and writing comprehension in English (to read instructions, tickets, safety and policies manuals)
- Basic measuring skills to read and convert English and Metric systems
- Basic arithmetic skills to calculate and convert decimals and fractions
- Demonstrated manual dexterity, finger dexterity, arm-hand steadiness, and multi-limb coordination
- Minimum experience of six (6) months experience as Material Handler III or Machine Operator Helper
- Minimum experience of six (6) months on operating an overhead crane
- Must be able to pass forklift certification on 5k and 10k forklifts
- Knowledge of standard to metric system conversion desired
You will be responsible for loading material that the day shift pulled for customer orders that will be going out the next day. You will use yard trucks to pull trailers in to load. Operate a overhead crane and forklift. Must be able to follow written and verbal directions. Shift is 9PM-5PM Monday thru Friday.
