Steel Manufacturer is looking for an experienced Laser Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate high-powered laser cutting machines to precisely cut steel materials per customer specifications and drawings.

Laser Operator Duties:
- Set up and operate laser cutting machines using oxygen, natural gas, and electrical power supplies
- Program laser cutting paths and nests for efficient material usage 
- Examine cut pieces for defects and measure to ensure tight tolerances
- Secure raw materials and finished pieces using overhead cranes and forklifts
- Guide steel plates/parts into place avoiding obstacles on the shop floor
- Deburr, grind, and finish parts using power tools as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area free of debris
- May assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Laser Operator Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience as a Laser Operator or Machine Operator
- Skilled in operating CNC laser cutting machinery and programming software
- Strong math skills to calculate part layouts and measurements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications 
- Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and power tools
- Available for overtime and shift work as production needs require
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical training preferred
