Machine Mechanic $26/HR

Located in Appleton, WI

Salary: $26/HR

Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

Pay: $26/HR

Duties:

• Conduct machine maintenance and repair to identify equipment failure root causes.
• Enhance machine functionality to extend manufacturing capabilities.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Recognize process/product-related issues and provide solutions to maximize productivity.
• Coordinate with machine operators and other mechanics to maintain maximum production flow.
• Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing and reinstalling them as necessary.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts.
• Identify the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
• Make necessary modifications to machinery and implement test runs.
• Confer with engineers regarding test results and make additional alterations to machinery as required.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years' experience in an electro-mechanical/maintenance role or 2+ years of related mechanical maintenance experience.
• Associate degree in maintenance, electro-mechanical technology, manufacturing systems, or a similar area preferred.
• Ability to work well independently and with others.
• Strong communication skills.
• Capability to lift 50 lbs. regularly.
• Demonstrated math skills.
• Basic decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Basic execution skills.
• Operational knowledge.
