Machine Maintenance Technician

This is a DIRECT-HIRE opportunity for an Engineering firm in Saline, MI.
Responsibilities of the Machine Maintenance Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Repair/rebuild and perform preventative maintenance on plastic injection molding and equipment such as pneumatic tools, power hand tools, hydraulic components, etc.
- Understand and perform, if necessary, inventory paperwork and computer transactions.
- Perform all housekeeping duties.
- Follow company safety practices and procedures to provide a safe work environment for all employees.
- Perform all other duties, as required, to meet customer and company quality and productivity needs
Skills and Requirements for the Machine Maintenance Technician:
- 3+ years’ experience with Plastic Injection Molding machines
- Ability to reach blueprints
- Demonstrated ability to perform pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical repairs
- Basic hand and measuring tool usage
Work Schedule for the Machine Maintenance Technician:
Compensation for the Machine Maintenance Technician: : $20-$25/hour based on experience
