Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour DOE

Currently hiring for contract electrical assembler with a booming technology and electronics company based in Snoqualmie, Washington.

If you have at least 1 year of soldering and electrical assembly experience and are looking to get your foot in the door with a growing company, then this is the opportunity for you.

Small microscope assembly where you are going to be stripping and soldering wires of different electrical components and probes.  

Responsibilities:

  • Wire, solder, and assemble fabricated components to make electrical and mechanical assemblies.
  • Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements.
  • Repair assemblies that fail to meet requirements.
  • Utilize established Best Known Methods on assigned product lines.
  • Meet established build time and quality standards.
  • Follow assembly work instructions, drawings, quality assurance procedures, and directives from the Lead.
  • Report problems with work instructions, procedures, mechanical parts, electrical continuity, or anything else negatively affecting quality to the Lead or Supervisor.
  • Organize and complete work assignments in a timely manner, limiting unproductive time.
  • Seek to improve skill set and learn new assembly methods.
  • Maintain department cleanliness.
  • Follow all company safety policies and Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.
  • Overtime as required.

Working Conditions: This individual will work in a production area with fumes from alcohol acetone, adhesives, sealants, and solder flux.  Fluctuating requirements of this position may include periods of working long hours and under tight deadlines. Please refer to the MSDS Notebook in this department for specific details regarding chemical exposure.

 

Physical Requirements: This position will require constant manipulation of fine parts, frequent sitting and reaching/working overhead. There will be occasional standing, walking, balancing, stooping, kneeling and crouching. Occasional pushing/pulling of a moving cart and moving/lifting equipment weighing up to 40 lbs. Average hearing and vision is sufficient.

Requirements:

  • Soldering or Electronic Assembly certificate from a vocational technical institute is desired.
  • High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum one year assembly experience, including one year of soldering experience in a manufacturing facility.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM

Pay: $20.00-$23.00
