About the Client:

Express is partnering with a local construction company seeking journey level carpenters.

About the Position:

To qualify for this position, you must have at least 5 years experience as a carpenter doing new construction, remodels, decks, barns, steel buildings, shops, garages, and more.

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

Assemble and construct various building structures, including walls, and floors using a range of materials and techniques.
Participate in mold remediation and water damage restoration projects, following established procedures to ensure safe and effective remediation.
Work on metal stud framing projects, installing metal studs and creating a solid foundation for walls and ceilings.
Perform trim carpentry tasks, including installing doors, windows, and molding.
Lift heavy materials and tools, and use power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
Apply caulk to seal gaps and joints in various construction projects.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete complex projects, following detailed plans and specifications.
Build and construct various structures, including cabinets, shelves, and custom furniture.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a journeyman/journeywoman carpenter or in a similar trade.
Strong foundation in carpentry and construction techniques.
Ability to use a variety of power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
Experience with metal stud framing and roofing construction.
Familiarity with mold remediation and water damage restoration procedures.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and bending tasks.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Shift:

Monday-Friday

Compensation:

$28-$36 per hour depending on experience
