Job Description:

The successful Mechanical Drafting applicant will be responsible for creating technical documents and manuals in a clear and concise manner while working with various departments to ensure accuracy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• ·         Show up and be on time every day
• ·         Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals.
• ·         Produce electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals.
• ·         Maintain a comprehensive library of technical documentation.
• ·         Analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content.
• ·         Manage updates and revisions to technical literature.
• ·         Create drawing illustrations for new products.
• ·         Participate and cooperate with every department while enthusiastically advocating teamwork.
• ·         Able to work with and lift the products on the production floor. (Up to 50 lbs)
• ·         Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Skills and Knowledge:

• ·         Basic knowledge in Mechanics
• ·         Knowledge in Technical Writing
• ·         Above basic computer knowledge
• ·         Efficient in all Microsoft Programs (specifically word and excel)
• ·         Knowledge in solidworks program a plus
• ·         Ability to multi-task between several projects simultaneously in a timely, thorough and professional manner.
• ·         Ability to take direction.
• ·         Flexibility and attention to detail.
  
  

Pay:

$25.00/hr + DOE

 

Schedule:

Monday - Friday

7:00am to 4:30pm.
