Diesel Mechanic

Salary: $22.00 - $26.00

Express Employment Professionals are hiring a Diesel Mechanic for a local Flathead Valley company!

Work schedule: Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Must have your own tools.
• Must Be able to work safely.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Keep a clean work area, pick up tools, and remove old used parts clean up after job is complete.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Know & understand service procedures, lube, oil changes, light repair and wiring diagnostics.
• Understand wheel end and brake mechanics, to replace brakes, s-cams and bushings, replace wheel seals, and wheel studs.
• Knowledge of electrical systems.
• Repair tarps, remove and replace, patch tarps.
• Have a full understanding of brakes, and the brake certification.
• Understand ABS systems along with air brake system.
• Trouble shoot air systems, air ride, tag axle components.
• Rebuild 5th wheels.
• Adjust inspect and adjust steering components.
• Certified to do FHWA inspections.
• Able to do some welding with Tig Welder and use torch set.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years' experience
• Valid driver license
